Hearing a loud noise just before falling asleep...?

It happens regularly...just as I fall asleep I hear a loud ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT noice, that wakes me up its so loud. The noise itself is hard to explain but it is like a loud staticy sound that lasts for maybe a second but is so profound that it wakens me. Has anyone else experienced this? I have no sleep conditions, I sleep well and fall asleep quickly (after hearing this damn noise). Thanks!
