Why aren't the Los Angeles Lakers getting any respect?

People like to hate the Lakers, but there is a better chance than normal that they will be upset, just due to the fact that the difference in the #1 seed and #8 seed is less than normal. All 8 playoff teams in the West are fully capable of beating each other in a series.
