What is the title of the book that was in the PSAT?

One of the reading selections during the PSAT was about a girl named Hanna, who was a painter. Sasaki-sensei was her painting instructor. She fell in love with the art of Setsuko Migishi, a painter from Japan. The book was published in 2003, and it's set in Japan and the United States. I can't tell if it's a biography or fiction.
