He started late last year on Smackdown. He was mad that Vickie Gurrerro gave Vladmir Kozlov a WWE Championship match before him so he decided to become an angry, wrestler. The face painting was introduced by Micheal Hayes and he said it was a tribute to Heath Ledger and The Joker in The Dark Knight.
