Why does everyone bash Christians?

I know this question has been asked probably about a million times. But, I'm a Christian. I often see and hear people speaking horribly about us. It's quite saddening. Not all Christians try to shove their religion down your throat. I understand there are alot of crazy Christians out there that do it. There are also alot that bash other religions, too. But, were not all like that. Actually, I don't do any of that. I stick to myself in religion. I don't judge you based upon other people. So, why do judge me based on someone elses ignorance?
