What could be the court judgemnt with regards 2 mail Recd from University for non payment of university fees?

I'm uncertain whether or not they can chase you to India to have you pay back the fees, although the debt being left behind in the USA/UK or wherever you studied for your degree will stop you from being able to travel back to that country, without them demanding repayment.
