What does it mean, "they did not receive him, because His face was as though he would go to Jerusalem"....?

The Samaritans and Jews of that time had a long-simmering hostility towards each other. For Jesus to act as if He were going to Jerusalem would be the equivalent of me showing up at a Tea Party rally and bragging about a full-ride scholarship to U. C. Berkeley.
